The labels of our four wines were created by an artist who was able to interpret the soul of each wine with sensitivity and style. Using the watercolor technique, she created delicate and poetic images, inspired by the dandelion flower.
Each label tells a different story of this flower, a metaphor for time, wind and change. The result is a collection of labels that not only dress the wine with elegance, they try to visually tell the story, even before it is uncorked.
A marriage between art and wine, designed to offer a complete experience, which starts with the sight and culminates in the glass.
Rosso Colli Euganei DOC
Luce Nascente is the first wine bottled by Cà Vendalis, the symbol of a new beginning and a conscious choice, guided by a passion for viticulture and a love for the land. This Rosso Colli Euganei DOC tells of enthusiasm and determination, with the strength and elegance of a wine that expresses the identity of the territory.
The label, painted in watercolor, depicts a blooming dandelion, a visual metaphor for a delicate rebirth. Its bright shades evoke dawn, that moment when the day takes shape, full of possibilities and promises.
Rosso Colli Euganei DOC is born from a Bordeaux blend of Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon, a combination that enhances structure, depth and complexity. Merlot, with its early ripening, is harvested between September 10 and 15, while Cabernet Sauvignon reaches perfect ripeness towards the end of September, allowing for a balanced wine rich in nuances.
In the vineyards, the grapes are selected with extreme care through thinning at the end of June, leaving 10-12 bunches per plant to ensure maximum organoleptic expression. The harvest, carried out strictly by hand, preserves the integrity of the fruit before pressing.
The must is sent to the fermentation tanks, where the mass is reassembled every two hours to extract color and aromas from the skins. During fermentation, a daily delestage is performed, a process that favors perfect extraction without compromising the finesse of the wine.
Once fermentation is complete, a soft pressing is carried out, which preserves the elegance and structure, avoiding the extraction of bitter notes. The wine rests in storage tanks, where it is racked after 15 days to favor its evolution.
Bottling takes place the following year, allowing the wine to refine and develop an aromatic complexity that enhances the unique personality of the Euganean Hills.
Color
It has an intense and deep red, enriched by ruby nuances that, over time, tend towards garnet tones.
Bouquet
On the nose it stands out for a complex and enveloping bouquet, with notes of ripe red fruits, such as cherry and blackberry, accompanied by more evolved hints of spices, tobacco and cocoa. The herbaceous component of Cabernet Sauvignon adds freshness and depth, giving the wine a pleasant aromatic complexity.
Taste
In the mouth it is dry, velvety and well structured. The Merlot gives softness and roundness, while the Cabernet Sauvignon provides strong tannins, which are refined with aging, giving a perfect balance between body and elegance. The persistence is long, with a finish that recalls spicy and fruity notes, leaving an impression of great harmony.
Merlot DOC in puro
Here the flower is fully bloomed, its petals open towards the light, a symbol of maturity and beauty achieved. The label, intense and harmonious, perfectly reflects the character of Merlot, a full, elegant and deep wine, which celebrates the fullness of life and taste.
Obtained from 100% Merlot grapes, this wine is born from a careful selection in the vineyard, with targeted thinning to maintain a limited production and guarantee the highest quality. The harvest is strictly done by hand, in the first ten days of September, when the bunches reach perfect ripeness.
After the harvest, the grapes are pressed and the must, with the skins, is fermented at 24°C for 6-8 days. During this period, the wine develops aromatic intensity and structure, best expressing the characteristics of the grape variety.
Once fermentation is complete, the wine is racked and softly pressed to preserve elegance and balance. The wine is then collected in storage tanks, where it rests and refines until bottling the following year, thus reaching its full expression.
A harmonious and intense Merlot, which contains all the essence of a pure wine, created to express the best of the territory and the refinement of this extraordinary grape variety.
The pure Merlot DOC is a wine that best expresses the power and elegance of this international grape variety, carefully cultivated in a vineyard exposed to the sun from dawn to dusk, ensuring optimal ripening of the grapes.
Color
It presents itself with a deep and intense red, with violet reflections in the younger stages, which evolve towards deep ruby tones over time, enhancing the richness of the wine.
On the nose it reveals an intense and enveloping bouquet, with clear hints of ripe red berries, such as cherry, blackberry and plum, enriched by delicate nuances of sweet spices, cocoa and tobacco.
In the mouth the flavor is decisive, full and structured, with soft and velvety tannins that give great balance. The roundness of the Merlot is balanced by a good freshness, making it an enveloping and persistent wine, with a long and harmonious finish, in which the fruity and spicy notes return.
The label depicts a dandelion, represented in a stylised and minimal version with the watercolour technique. Its spherical shape, essential and light, evokes a sense of harmony and potential, ready to take flight at the first breath. This graphic trait perfectly reflects the freshness and elegance of Manzoni Bianco, a refined wine that retains a strong identity.
The harvest takes place in the first days of September, when the grapes - with a limited yield of about 80 quintals in total - still maintain a sustained acidity, ideal for obtaining a balanced and lively fermentation.
After the initial phase of crushing and soft pressing, the clean and floated must is sent for fermentation, which develops over 8-10 days at a constant temperature of 17°C.
Once the yeasts have completed the transformation of the sugars into alcohol, the wine is transferred into storage tanks, where it rests until bottling, scheduled between February and March of the following year.
Manzoni Bianco IGT: Elegance and Refinement
Manzoni Bianco IGT is a refined wine, born from the cross between Riesling Renano and Pinot Bianco, varieties expertly selected by Professor Luigi Manzoni in the 1930s in Friuli to obtain a vine with unique characteristics.
Despite its Friulian origins, Manzoni Bianco has found its ideal habitat in the Euganean Hills, here expressing its elegance and distinctive aromatic profile to the fullest. Thanks to the favorable climatic conditions and the richness of the soil, the vine develops a perfect balance between acidity and softness, giving life to a fresh, structured and highly versatile wine.
Its aromatic bouquet is distinguished by refined notes of white fruit, flowers and almond, creating a harmonious and enveloping profile.
Prosecco DOC
The label, painted with the watercolor technique, represents the last chapter of the common thread that links the four bottles of Cà Vendalis. The dandelion, which in the previous labels gradually transformed, has now become a dandelion and has begun to release its seeds, carried by the wind in new directions.
Among them, three glasses of Prosecco also rise lightly, floating in the sky together with the seeds, celebrating the idea of a toast that is released into the air, just like the bubbles that dance in the glass. It is an image that evokes joy, sharing and the pleasure of letting yourself be carried by the flow of time, without resisting, but embracing the beauty of the moment.
Obtained from Glera grapes, Prosecco DOC takes shape through a long sparkling process, which can last up to three months - two in our case. The grapes are crushed and pressed, the must is clarified and fermented for 6-8 days at 17°C, before being sparkling and bottled.
Thus, the entire visual story finds its fulfillment: the flower, which bloomed in the first labels, has now completely transformed, releasing its seeds, just like Prosecco DOC, which brings with it the promise of a moment to be lived, of a celebration that takes flight.
Prosecco DOC is a sparkling wine that embodies freshness, elegance and vivacity, perfect for celebrating moments of joy and conviviality.
Perlage
Its bubbles are fine, persistent and velvety, providing a perfect harmony between freshness and softness. The delicate and continuous perlage enhances the lightness of the wine, accompanying each sip with a pleasant effervescent caress.
It has a bright straw yellow color, enriched by golden reflections that enhance its brightness and vivacity.
On the nose it is intense and refined, with notes of white flowers, green apple, pear and citrus, enriched by delicate mineral nuances that complete the aromatic bouquet.
In the mouth it is fresh and balanced, with a velvety softness that blends perfectly with the lively acidity. The finish is long and pleasant, leaving a sensation of cleanliness and lightness.
